noguchi cyclone table. Isamu Noguchi, son of an American writer and Japanes poet, worked in Brancusi's atelier in Paris before embarking on his own diverse career. Noguchi's classic mid-century Cyclone Table design is now available in its original size for children. Drawn in 1953 as a stool, Noguchi altered the production to be a child's table to coordinate with the Harry Bertoia chairs produced by Knoll. The center support allows several children to sit around the table and the heavy wood base makes the laminate top a stable surface for work and play.
